Well, it was another quiet day at sea. The weather improved slightly today with the sun finally coming out. I think we’ve officially passed the halfway mark to San Diego. We were teasing one of the other passengers today as we passed Hawaii. This was something he had asked about, so the captain pointed out that we would be sailing past it tomorrow. Of course it will be almost 1000 miles south of us. I suppose that’s a little too far for a quick stop.
The picture for today is a last shot of Japan, specifically Nagasaki harbour. The rest of the shots until we reach the United States will be of the ship. We were talking about it tonight, being quite happy we will dock before going through the Panama Canal. Sometimes you get a little stir crazy when at sea for too long. It probably wouldn’t be so bad if the weather were better. When the weather is better you can spend plenty of time outside, so it doesn’t seem so bad.
