This morning we sailed up the Mississippi delta into New Orleans. Since I was up to see part of it today’s picture is of the sunrise over the delta. It’s just after 10am and I hear that we should be cleared to leave in about half an hour. So it’s likely we’ll pack up our tourist stuff (camera, map, and currency) and head into the city. The one thing that will be tough to decide is what clothing to wear in today. Up on the pilot deck it was biting cold this morning although it’s warming up. I suspect it’s going to turn out to be a beautiful afternoon.
